Plant Operator

Water Treatment Plant

12 Month FTC

A specialist engineering company in Northern Ireland is now recruiting an additional Plant Operator to join the business and work on a number of projects with NI Water.

You will be tasked with keeping operations going on pilot water treatment plants and investigate any issues.

Key tasks:

Complete laboratory experiments; coagulant/polyelectrolyte jar testing
Treated Water Analysis
Sludge Analysis
Data collection and interpretation
Produce technical reports
Analysis of data and presentation of results

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a process or lab based environment
Experience of collecting and analysing data
Keen interest in water/environmental industry
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Able to work outside normal hours from time to time
Full driving licence
