    Maintenance Engineer – Foundry Environment

    Location: Derbyshire, Salary: £51,000 per annum, Shift Pattern: Nights Shift

    We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Engineers to excel in a fast-paced foundry environment. Both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers are required to join our team, working a nights-based shift.

    • Preventative Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on foundry equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
    • Electrical & Mechanical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair either electrical or mechanical systems, including motors, control panels, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
    • Interpret Engineering Drawings: Work from detailed electrical and mechanical engineering drawings to carry out installations, maintenance, and repairs.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience: A proven background as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a foundry, heavy industrial, or manufacturing setting.
    • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
    • Drawings Interpretation: Ability to accurately read and work from complex engineering drawings.
    • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) are essential. Additional PLC training would be an advantage.

    Packages Offered:
