Financial Planner


Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus

Edinburgh


This position is with an expanding, national financial planning practice that have several offices across the UK and are continuing to grow, despite the challenges of Covid.

They place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solution.

They have a broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & employee benefits along with some corporatefinancial planning.

They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client-retention rate to go with this.

They have multiple offices across the UK and are a growing presence nationally.

The Role:


This opportunity starts as a desk based role and is an excellent prospect for an adviser to build their client bank and progress with the company.


This role would suit someone who is technically minded and who has a natural ability to develop relationships, create introducers, and create referrals to keep a constant stream of business enquiries coming in.


This role will centre around the clients that the firm has and overseeing long-standing relationships whilst looking to build on the connections and look for additional referrals where possible.

You would be provided holistic advice to a diverse client basewith the majority being phone based in nature and you would also benefit from good admin and paraplanning support.


They also have a smooth compliance process from a firm that embrace the use of technology to make the advice process easier.


The Required Skills:


  • Level 4 Diploma Qualified as a minimum and signed off with Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
  • Track record of converting leads and generating lasting relationships with both introducers and clientele.
  • Strong technical knowledge around pensions and Investments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cashflow modelling would be advantageous.
