School Caretaker - Woodside Park, Barnet - Start ASAP (see below)

We are recruiting a skilled School Caretaker to join an outstanding school in Barnet. Please see below for job specifications. PRIOR SCHOOL EXPERIENCE AND DBS CLEARANCE HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

As a School Caretaker you will need to be a capable individual who meets the following requirements:

  • Basic maintenance knowledge and able to use a wide range of hand tools & power tools
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety in a school
  • Knowledge of safeguarding requirements in a school environment
  • Knowledge of grounds maintenance and using garden equipment/machinery
  • Knowledge regarding fire alarms, drills, weekly testing
  • Manual handling awareness
  • Willing to learn and evolve, a good command of English.
  • Salary £20,000£26,000 (dependent upon experience)
The school is close to Woodside Park Station with many accessible tube, train and bus lines. The school is modern and well equipped; as an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school, its standards and facilities are exceptional.
