To support the administration requirements of Training and Competence services across the business ensuring our workforce have the skills and competencies required to do their job safely.
People:
- Interface internally with Skillspool advisors, competence assurance team, technical authorities, contract managers/delivery team leaders within the business in relation to administrative tasks within remit.
Process Ownership:
- Support in onboarding of new starts training compliance in accordance with Wood standards and procedures
Checking, verification and uploading of certification and documentation received from employees, Skillspool Advisors, Competence Assurance Team, clients and third-party training providers.
Updating of personnel in TMS/CMS on receipt of notifications from business regarding change of details or leaver statusReceive, carry out checks and submit data received from third party / clients in relation to training bookings and completions to the TMS provider
Support Training and Competency Advisors in review/gap analysis of monthly training bookings
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Maintaining and administering changes within digital training/competence system
General:
- Provide administrative support to the Skillspool team both in relation to TMS and CMS
- Participate in standalone projects as required
- Responsible for efficient response times to Skillspool and individual mailboxes, iCIMS and Everything People queries
- Proactive ownership of data stored in various systems within business area
- Provide holiday/absence cover to support Darlington Administration Team as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Secondary Standard grade/higher or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience:
- Preferably requires training and competence experience in a highly regulated process industry
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise
- Strong ability to work flexibly managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address issues
