Broadband Support Engineer

Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a global leading service provider to recruit an experienced Broadband Support Engineer to join their team.

Please note this a remote role that offers a competitive salary.

The Role

As a Broadband Support Engineer, you will be providing all aspects of technical IT support to schools and reporting to the Network Manager.

The Responsibilities

Providing technical advice and support services for schools
Supporting all aspects of school infrastructure.
Updating & logging tickets.
Delivering on quality of services targets for all schools.
Enabling continuous improvement by upkeep of knowledge and developments.
Working with DNS & DHCP Networks.

The Requirements

Proven previous experience within a similar type of role.
High level IT skills and knowledge of several systems.
Knowledge of Networking & cloudbased services.
Top level troubleshooting skills, knowledge of wireless installation & configuration.
Cable installation knowledge.
Great customer service skills.
Top quality communication skills, written and verbal.
Full UK Driving license is essential.
High level of attention to detail.
