Production Team Leader for our
Nelson Site.
You will play an important role in making sure some of the best-known drink's brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers.

About the Role
You will be part of a supportive team, led by Operations Manager working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
- Lead a Team to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment, fulfilling the production plan requirements and always demonstrating an audit ready production environment.
- Drive the performance of the process function and/or operation of product equipment/machinery and packaging equipment/machinery including fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities to maximise OEE performance.
- Audit all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Work as a key member of the Production Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
Salary and Benefits
You will be paid annual salary of £34, Your shift pattern will be continental shift pattern working, 12-hour shifts & on a two-week rotation of days and nights with every other weekend off.
In addition, you will have 2 x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme, a sports and social fund and free on-site car parking.
About You
You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Refresco, Nelson so it's important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals.
For the role of Production Team Leader, you will have previous experience of working within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, you will be focused on driving performance within a team and maintaining excellent standards against Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost.
You will also be an experienced team leader who is passionate about building a highly skilled and motivated team around you, have the ability to develop good working relationships with other departments and have good IT skills.
It would be advantageous to have Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene, Level 3 HACCP, IOSH Managing Safely as well as Management and Leadership qualification.
