Go Security are looking for experienced security officers to work in Tottenham, London on a permanent contract.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking dynamic and vigilant Security Officers to join our dedicated team in the Tottenham area.

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting businesses within the Tottenham area, working in partnership with the Police and Local Authority Enforcement.

The primary focus will be on monitoring and maintaining the security and well-being of the community.


Responsibilities:

Patrols: Conduct regular patrols throughout the high street area, covering over 140 stores and shops.

Reports: Meticulously document and maintain detailed incident logs, reporting issues such as fly-tipping, street cleanliness, graffiti, and other relevant matters.

Anti-Social Behavior: Actively manage and address anti-social behavior, demonstrating mental resilience in challenging circumstances.

Shoplifting Prevention:Apprehend shoplifters and collaborate with local retailers to reduce crime.

Collaboration with Authorities: Work closely with the Police and Local Authority Enforcement, providing support in dealing with various situations, including aggressive behavior and other serious conditions.

Homelessness Support: Collaborate with other organizations to support homeless individuals and contribute to efforts to reduce begging on the streets.

Incident Assistance: Attend and assist local businesses promptly in response to calls for support, addressing diverse situations effectively.


Requirements:

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Able to provide a 5year work & address history that can be checked according to preemployment screening in accordance with BS7858:201
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good command of the English language.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging circumstances.
• Physical fitness and stamina for extensive patrols, estimating a daily step count of 20,000 to 30,000 steps.
• Ability to collaborate with local businesses and organizations.
• Demonstrated capability to handle antisocial behavior and serious conditions.
• Effective communication and collaboration with law enforcement authorities.

Hours / Pay:

• Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour
• Availability to work flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday is required.
