Inizio Engage have the pleasure of working with one of leading global pharmaceutical companies to recruit a Therapy Area Specialist to cover Scotland.
This role working across both Primary and Secondary care and is a fantastic opportunity to work on a team dedicated to the promotion of a leading antiviral medicine to treat coronavirus, as well as a product to aid with migraine treatments.
This promotional customer facing role will demonstrate excellence in customer engagement, disease and brand knowledge to a range of NHS stakeholders across the patient pathway in order to maximise uptake of our medicines and achievement of specific KPIs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate sustained indepth disease, brand and environmental knowledge (patient pathway, stakeholder mapping)
- Targeted Customer Engagement of key individual stakeholders and organisations across the patient pathway, in order to secure optimal patient access within the local NHS system and private healthcare, based upon the value of our medicines
- Develop Key Clinical Experts to advocate the value of and, maximise the appropriate use of our medicines and benefits for patients
- Account planning & prioritisation; Demonstrate excellence in prioritization, development & execution of best in class account plans in collaboration with cross functional team
- Operate with a Digital First multichannel mindset, demonstrating high capability and deployment of digital technology and channels, to further enhance customer experience, maximise colleague efficiency and ensure optimal patient access to our medicines

Experience Required:
- Where access to customer groups have certain entry requirements e.g. credentialing, colleague would be required to comply with these as necessary to fulfil their role.
- UK pharmaceutical industry experience
- Effective working knowledge of NHS structures and the interdependencies between Health and Care systems and service providers, across primary care and secondary care
- Advanced selling skills and ability to critically appraise & present clinical and real world data with impact
- Experience in building long term customer relationships and advocacy development
- Promote ongoing learning agility and Continuous Professional Development for self and others, demonstrating a growth mindset
- Adherence with company values and behaviours to ensure our culture is diverse and inclusive
- Driving license
- ABPI Qualified
