About Our Client:


A high end e-commerce/retail brand, the company has tripled their profit in the last 5 years and continues to grow.


  • Daily bank reconciliation between HSBC and Sage 50, posting bank receipts/payments/transfers
  • Updating card receipts worksheet to assist with cashflow expectations
  • Reconciliations including supplier reconciliations and resolving queries, looking into revenue streams and reconciling sales to cash received as well as posting relevant journals. Assisting with reviewing Sage system setup to help track revenue streams
  • Creating journal for credit cards statements and reconciling in Sage
  • Overseeing purchase ledger team as senior team member, and assisting with queries as well as inputting invoices, credit notes into Sage
  • Reviewing Aged Creditors reports and following as on any queries (I.e. invoices needed for advance payments, refund request if there was a credit on the account)
  • Matching invoices in the Epos system and further queries including reporting and looking at credit requests, looking at stock levels to investigate queries relating to invoices/ purchase orders or credits
  • Assisting with pay runs including checking all invoices to be paid (due dates, amounts, valid invoice), processing pay run in Sage and uploading
  • Credit control
- looking after the account customers, account statements, billing

  • Setting up new suppliers or customers as needed in Sage 50, amending suppliers following a security check
  • Working out timesheet hours and inputting these into spreadsheet
  • Assisting with year end process including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, backup required for auditors
  • Preparing management information and developing management accounts
  • Supporting the companies goal to move towards a fully paperless office
