About the role
This role is intrinsically linked to the Bioresources strategy for Wastewater and is responsible for the successful delivery of legislative shutdowns and essential maintenance across the department, whilst also keeping the plant running safely and efficiently.
The role encompasses the first line management of a team of Process Technicians and Operators, and as such, is also accountable for ensuring the right balance is kept between Commercial activities and maintaining our excellent compliance record.
This role extends from the daily processes at a site level to the wider Wastewater team, providing input and support on Efficiency and Innovation Projects, and working very closely with the Bioresources Team.

You'll be extremely driven and have the ability to balance the demands of leading a team and working in the fast paced and ever-changing Production environment.
You'll have proven technical knowledge of the Wastewater Sludge and Wastewater Treatment Processes and be an effective leader, with an emphasis on engagement and team working.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally are essential.
