A great opportunity has risen for an Electrical Contract Manager or an experienced Electrical Qualifying Manager to play a key role in the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council in-house electrical team.


As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical resources and assets within the Housing Maintenance Team and ensuring electrical compliance across the council's assets.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Team Manager in the management of all electrical repairs and improvements across the council's portfolio
  • Ensuring the competency of all persons carrying out all electrical work
  • Ensuring the delivery of a quality reactive repairs and improvements service
  • Managing schedules of works and liaising with clients, subcontractors and partners
  • Overseeing health and safety, site engineering staff and supervisory staff / sub contractors


You will need extensive experience of managing and controlling technical and construction professionals engaged in property maintenance and facilities management.

You will also need extensive experience of social housing repair legislation and landlords'statutory obligations relating to the management of electrical installations.

Extensive experience of delivering social housing compliance services is equally important.
