Due to huge owner investment, two fantastic new opportunities have arisen for Maintenance Fitters to join the team at a successful global packaging manufacturer in Leeds.

You will join an established maintenance team and will provide hands on maintenance support across a fast moving, fully automated manufacturing site.

These are great opportunities to join an established business who are investing millions into the plant, staff and equipment offering opportunities to advance in your career.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all equipment is working continuously & with maximum efficiency
Keeping all machinery & surrounding areas clear and free of loose/ broken products
Daily equipment inspections
Regularly cleaning, refurbishing & repairing equipment to minimise downtime
Adhering to all Health & Safety rules

Key requirements

Must have a recognised engineering apprenticeship/ relevant engineering qualification
Great Maths & English
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work to a high standard both unsupervised & as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure & prioritise workload
Proactive, committed & enthusiastic approach to your work
Previous experience in a 24hour manufacturing operation is preferred but not essential
