Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger - Caledonian House, West Kinfauns - 35 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm


About you:


Are you self-motivated, organised, and experienced as a Finance Assistant? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our busy Finance team as a Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger based at our Head Office in West Kinfauns, Perth.


The role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the processing of purchase ledger is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices in accordance with agreedprocedures and ensuring supplier queries are solved efficiently. You will liaise with the purchasing team and the depots to resolve any queries. You will reconcile supplier statements to the purchase ledger, as well as managing supplier payments. You will ensure new suppliers are added to the purchase ledger with the agreed procedures. You will also update and maintain the query log. You will answer and deal with any incoming calls as well as any other ad-hoc duties when required.

Training will be provided.


What you'll need:


Essential:

  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent IT Skills. Confident in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced role.
  • Previous finance related experience.
