Quality Inspector

Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Friday 7:00am - 2.30pm

Quality Inspector role:_

Inspection and Quality control, the role will include:

Responsible for quality and inspection of goods and reporting / liaising with the production managers / team with quality issues. Proven track record of quality and inspection required and knowledge of various precise measuring equipment (vernier, micrometer etc).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good numerical and mechanical knowledge
Attention to detail

Other responsibilities of a quality Inspector:

Support to goods inwards including organising any raw material deliveries and goods inward inspection.
Helping the production manager to organise the work benches when material has been issued
Support to health and safety officer
Any other organisation that the factory requires to improve efficiency and quality of output.

ESSENTIAL Quality Inspector Skills:

Engineering background would be preferable.

Quick learner, ability to work under pressure at month end and team player.

Forklift truck license optional (but training could be provided).

Clean, full UK driving license required.
