About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established retail business, employing over 10,000 people across several countries.

The company's headquarters are located in Blackburn, where this role will be based.

  • Manage the entire Accounts Receivable process for Frenchspeaking customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers in French and English to resolve payment issues.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.
  • Assist with audits and financial statements.
  • Support with credit control and debt recovery processes.
  • Maintain customer relationships and handle queries effectively.
  • Adhere to company's financial policies and regulations.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in customer service situations.
