About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established retail business, employing over 10,000 people across several countries.
They are renowned for their commitment to customer service and high-quality products, with a significant presence in the retail industry.
The company's headquarters are located in Blackburn, where this role will be based.- Manage the entire Accounts Receivable process for Frenchspeaking customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers in French and English to resolve payment issues.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.
- Assist with audits and financial statements.
- Support with credit control and debt recovery processes.
- Maintain customer relationships and handle queries effectively.
- Adhere to company's financial policies and regulations.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in customer service situations.
