Management Accountant | Central Manchester + Hybrid | ACCA, CIMA or ACA | £50,000


Job Overview:


Axon Moore are partnering alongside a fantastic organisation working in the travel industry who are looking to bring in a Management Accountant.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and Managing Director this is ideal if you are looking to leverage yourmonth end experience and gain key skills such as business partnering, budgeting, staff management and system implementation.


Salary:
£50,000

Hybrid working, 25 days annual leave


Location:
Central Manchester


Main Duties:


  • Preparation of the Monthly Management accounts pack
  • Play a key role in the development of a new system
  • Business Partner with SLT (MD)
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Journal posting
  • Income analysis
  • Inventory calculations and postings
  • Cash Flow forecasting
  • Fixed Assets
  • Intercompany Reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Support the development and management of two members of finance
  • Yearend audit analysis
  • Process improvements
  • Ensure all processes are documented and are kept up to date
  • VAT returns
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification:


  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified.
  • Management Accounts experience.
  • Strong problem solver.
  • Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skill set.
