Procurement Specialist (Renewable Technology)

My client is a recognised specialist in their field within renewable technology.

This small and growing business is poised for significant further global success and a compelling opportunity has now arisen for a Procurement Specialist to join the team.

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, key contribution areas will include:

Leading the purchasing activity for all MRO (e.g. tooling) equipment to support production.
Evaluate quotes from suppliers and compare quotes with the specifications, availability of items and the required cost
Serve as a liaison between Supply Chain, Supply Partners and Internal Stakeholders such as Engineering, Commercial sales, Technology, Operations and Finance. Provide support in all Supply Chain activities arising on a daytoday level
Support the management of supply partners' products, their capabilities, and their overall performance
Assist in deployment and management of any predefined Supply Chain Programs, identifying areas of improvement and efficiency
Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing company policies and procedures
Support master planning (S&OP) sizing requirements, inclusive of endtoend materials and logistic requirements
Assist in the continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly, to provide quality seamless customer service
Adopt and maintain an overriding culture of safety and environmental sustainability across Supply Chain activities
