Are you a seasoned interim finance leader with experience in a professional services background? Can you provide stability at a time of change? Can you ensure the successful delivery of monthly and annual accounting requirements effectively?

My client is a legal services practice in North London in need of an Interim Finance Director for a period of three-to-six months to cover a crucial period of the financial year

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing the daytoday financial operations of a circa £10m legal services firm
Leading on the preparation of monthly management accounts
Leading on the production of statutory accounts and taking the team through the audit process
Leading on financial reporting to deliver to senior management and being the key finance point of contact for other department heads
Leading on cash flow reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and providing the key financial input into the delivery and execution of upcoming salary reviews.

This role should appeal to those who take pride in delivering confidence at a time of challenge, providing stability despite high pressure, and shaping the delivery of an expert finance function having hit the ground running.

Ideally be a fully qualified accountant, though substantially experienced nonqualified individuals can still be considered
Come from a background of finance leadership in a professional services environment, such as law or accounting firms
Be a seasoned interim who is used to working without a complete handover, and can be a reassuring presence to finance teams.
