The primary role of the Services Administrator is to assist in the day-to-day administration of the team. The post sits within a team whose purpose is to ensure all Business activities are executed effectively.
The Services Administrator combines both customer-facing activities and the use of back-office systems.
As a result, the role demands high standards of customer service combined with good levels of numeracy and accuracy when interpreting information an intermediateto advanced level user of Excel is critical in this role.
Role responsibilities:
A high quality first line of contact for customers
Liaising with suppliers, services and third party intermediaries.
Handling enquiries regarding new accounts, setting up new contracts including setting up direct debit payments
Effective day-to-day use of data and IT including telephony and specialist third party systems
Actioning processes for outgoing and incoming customers
Setting up new customer accounts and ensuring financial data is correctly uploaded
Collecting and reporting of sales ledger invoicing, and payments allocation from Direct Debits
Identifying accounts that are at risk of bad debt and sharing information with the Credit Control team
Skills
Experience of supporting a busy team
Highly computer literate, using a range of service-based IT systems.
Good levels of numeracy, capable of understanding and using financial information
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise and address competing customer needs
Willingness to learn and develop when adopting new systems and practices
