£45,000 to £50,000 pro-rata (3 days per week)

Derby, East Midlands

WFH but must be willing to attend Derby & London offices


As Finance Manager to this PE-backed tech distributor, you will need to be a self-motivated finance professional with the ability to establish an in-house finance function.

It is a very hands-on role, and you will need to prioritise and deliver within afast-paced environment.

Initially focused on bringing the finance function in-house, then proceed to deliver accurate management accounts and analysis to provide insight and support planning.

The ideal role for an experienced accountant with an SME background, seeking a part-time opportunity.

Attendance is required at least once a month to each the Derby and the London office.


An insight to your responsibilities:


  • Production of management accounts and reports.
  • Build a robust financial control framework.
  • Yearend accounting and tax.
  • Cash forecasting across the group.
  • Manage the monthly payroll process.
  • Credit control, reconciliations, invoices, transactions and journals.
  • Provide support to founders and the leadership team.
  • Adhoc tasks as and when required.

Do you have the knowledge and experience?

  • ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, QBE.
