This role forms part of the Admin and Business Support Team which provides internal and external support to customers and stakeholders with a focus on always delivering outstanding service.
The Admin team supports the Education Services part of HFL. The Education Services works closely with our customers in the Primary, Secondary, Nursery, Specials schools and PVI settings. The Educational Administrator will work with these teams to ensure good customer service is delivered.Herts for Learning Ltd trading as HFL Education

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide a wide range of proactive administration support to internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes for schools and settings.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Administration Support:
- Update trackers with information from published Ofsted reports regarding
- Prepare and send relevant information to inadequate childcare providers when required.
- Provide administration support to settings causing concern, proactively identifying the settings that need to be discussed, collating information, and issuing letters as required.
- Support termly district review meetings by collating confidential information, collating reports by district, providing information on Ofsted grades and minuting meetings.
- Support delivery of bespoke schemes, collaborating with our marketing team to update promotional materials and attend internal briefings.
Operational Effectiveness:
- Regularly meet with service leaders to forward plan, review work completed and understand their ways of working to support their needs.
- Provide proactive administrative partnership with service leads by keeping track of key project milestones and progress against personal, team and company goals.
- Engage with education settings to promote traded services, following up on leads to upsell and secure new business.
- Own a team strategic goal, sharing best practice across the team.
- Proactively seek and use technologies to improve service delivery.
- Handle customer issues in a professional, resulting in a full resolution.
- Ensure all procedures are documented and regularly reviewed
- Use data to produce regular reporting on core contact, settings inspected by Ofsted and other information requested by key stakeholders.
Knowledge Building & Sharing:
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding of products and services across business.
- Own customer queries in the knowledge base platform, continually adding new solutions.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge and Experience of:
- Providing a wide range of professional administration services to teams and individuals with excellent attention to detail (Essential).
- Driving outstanding service (Essential).
- Using data to drive continuous improvement (Desirable).
- Experience of using case management and a CRM system for tracking communications and income and creating reports (Desirable).
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams to deliver customercentric outcomes (Desirable).
- Knowledge of the education sector (Desirable).
Skills and Abilities:
- Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages at an intermediate level (Essential).
- Possess a demonstrable ability to plan and prioritise your own workload (Essential).
- Strong change management and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate at different levels within the organisation (Desirable).
