Job Description The Role**We are looking for a highly capable EHS Advisor to take responsibility for EHS activities across our site in South Queensferry, Scotland.


A day in the life of a EHS Advisor
Providing leadership, mentoring and direction, your day to day will include:

  • Maintain communication with the leadership team
  • Manage and contribute to the development of EHS system to maintain accreditation to both ISO45001 and ISO1400
  • Conduct internal EHS audits and assist with the preparation of external audits
  • Take corrective action, where required, following Compliance Audits
  • Prepare, review and deliver training material
  • Training and monitoring on Safety Improvement Cards
  • Conducting accident investigations
  • Generating and reviewing reports for environmental and safety agencies
  • Managed of waste management systems
  • Manage and administer the site's noise control plans

Qualifications About You**- 3+ years' experience working within a similar role

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Have a strong understanding of environmental, health and safety regulations, programmes and policies
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships
  • A Technical Degree or NEBOSH Diploma is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
