Little Cubs is a family run nursery for 48 children operating in Kenilworth town centre.
Rated Good by Ofsted in January 2024 we are an all year round setting with closure for Bank Holidays and a week at Christmas.
Responsibilities:
- The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
- Working with the Early Years Practitioners on planning and preparation of activities, to meet children's individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Observe and support children's development, update the Tapestry system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
- Take part in delivering the highest standards of care throughout the nursery
What we need from you?
- Passion and commitment for working in childcare
- Experience in a childcare role desirable but not essential
- Ability to work shifts between Monday to Friday working between hours per week
- We are an all year round setting so role is not applicable to term time only
- Commitment to continual development
