Outline of Role
To support the smooth delivery of the projects department and the admin needs of the Project Support team.


Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Transport Planning team, your role will include:

  • Working with the transport office
  • Advising delays or issues with meeting the specified timeslot
  • Advising of site constraints if found
  • Informing the office of vehicle defects
- informing the office of anything out of scope of the initial request

Your fundamental responsibilities will include but are not limited to

  • Being able to arrive at the time specified by the client
  • Being able to manoeuvre the vehicle to either the delivery point
  • Being able to complete daily vehicle checks before starting the day
  • Adhering to the tachograph laws
  • Checking delivery points
  • Ensure all freight is stowed correctly
  • Following client specific processes if needed

Knowledge/experience required

  • 2 Years HGV Class 1 experience
  • Knowledge of tacho legislation
  • Tail lift experience
  • Full C&E licence
  • Full CPC licence
  • Time Management
  • Experience in oversize pallets and cages
  • Ability to complete nights out if required
