Hours:
- 8:00am 17:00pm
- Wednesday to Friday
- Part time (30 minute break per shift)
Pay Rate:
- £12.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provision of a full reception service to all clients and patients. Welcoming patients in person and ensure their comfort and needs are considered and met.
- To ensure the clinic is presented in a clean, tidy, professional and organized way, correctly prepared for every clinic and appointment.
- To promote and maintain best practice for all customer care activity, understanding that the nature of the role dictates exposure to highly confidential and sensitive issues which must be handled appropriately.
- To receive and process monitory income and arrange for payments and maintaining the daily remittance report.
- The use of business one management system to input, store and maintain accurate patient records and make clinic appointment bookings.
- To provide daily administration support to DOC Clinicians and commercial manager and help manage and maintain their diaries on the company database ensuring their time is maximized.
- Clinic administration including appointment reminders and G.P letters plus ensuring important patient documentation such as VAT exemption forms and client's details forms are present and up to date according to quality system requirements.
- To assist, support and be directed by the Practice Manager on any other general day to day duties as appropriate to the daily operation and development of the clinic.
- To support and work as part of an administration team using standard working practices and help cover their roles in their absence.
- To understand and adhere to legal requirements of the data protection Act with respect to collection, storage and retrieval of patient and staff personal and company data.
- To understand and adhere to the requirements of health and safety legislation in compliance with the health and safety at work act sand to ensure your own safety and that of others.
- To be prepared to receive further training in systems and procedures of work in order to develop.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator with an empathetic and understanding approach.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and effectively priorities.
- Competency in the use of I.T. systems Work, Excel & business one.
- Personal integrity & sensitivity to patients needs/physical and psychological difficulties (Essential)
- Selfmotivation and drive to complete tasks and ability to interact communicate confidently with patients, clinicians, suppliers, peers and associates of all levels. (Essential)
