We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our well established and successful client based in St Albans

Our client are a modern and innovative legal firm and experts in their field. They believe firmly in developing their staff and recognising their achievements. You will be joining a warm, friendly and social team environment.


This is a key role in the business, supporting the Business Development and Marketing Manager with a wide range of activities to help manage the growth of the brand.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Work with the Senior Executive on advertising and sponsorships
  • liaise with the publications and lawyers, proofread copy and supply artwork by the deadline, coordinate key events that the firm/teams sponsor
  • Digital marketing:
- manage day to day website updates with support from website hosting company
- contribute to projects to improve the content and structure of the website
- work with the Senior Marcoms Executive to manage the firm's social media channels, ensure they are updated regularly with new content to help increase the profile of the firm and its people and drive visitors to the website

  • Work with the Marcoms Senior Executive on legal directories agree and implement a process to collate and send submissions by the deadline and coordinate interviews with the researcher
  • Work with the Senior Marcoms Executive to develop and implement the marcoms plans to support the team navigation charts
  • Client experience collate client survey results and circulate, update the website with the latest stats and ask lawyers to contact clients who have left positive reviews to provide a Google review
  • Brand management ensure brand guidelines are maintained internally and by any external party (printers, publishers, sponsors)
  • Events help the Senior Marcoms Executive to manage virtual and physical events hosted or sponsored by the firm and brief the other practice support teams on the support they need to provide to facilitate these events
  • Internal comms work with others in practice support to send internal comms
  • Manage the starters and leavers process with support from the business development manager set up introduction marketing meetings, organise website profile and headshot

For this Marketing Executive role, the employer is looking for:

  • Ideally 2 years' marketing experience
  • Marketing degree or qualification such as CIM, or working towards this
  • Strong computer literacy in relevant software packages
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint (intermediate)
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with a range of individuals, both within and outside the organisation
  • Knowledge of the following platforms is useful: Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics, Wordpress
  • Organisation skills including the ability to prioritise work
  • High standards of professionalism
  • Socially confident
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with pressure and maintain a calm manner at all times
