Description
As a Painter and Decorator, you will be working as part of the maintenance team on a day to day basis on various facility projects.
Main roles and responsibilities will be:
- Painting and decorating to a high standard
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right colour or texture
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
Be able to deal with customers in a courteous way, be punctual, reliable, able to work within a team but also be able to work using own initiative and take pride in your work.
CSCS desired but not essential.A DBS check will be carried out upon commencement of employment.
Adhere to health and safety and company policies at all times
A full driving licence would be required.
