  • We have an exciting opening for an experienced Engineering Support Coordinator/Planner with good working knowledge of engineering demands in an engine overhaul/repair facility. This role will be based in our Engine Workshop in Kennington, Oxford and will be working Monday-Friday, 8:00am16:30pm.
  • You will be responsible for Engine Production Planning and throughput with the requirement of efficiency, accuracy and a selfmotivated approach to the role.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for day to day operational support and workflows of component inputs. This is a varied and hands on role where each day will produce new challenges and opportunities for utilising all communication, organisational, administration and planning skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Planning and management of Engine and component workflow, from induction through to delivery
  • Administration of invoices and management of customer relationships
  • Office administration including management of documentation, correspondence and reports
  • Liaising with the workshop daily surrounding their administration support needs
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for meeting and greeting all site visitors
  • Ordering of all stationery and office resources
  • Organising any meetings with suppliers/clients as required and all associated diary management
  • Deputize for Stores Supervisor in time of absence/sickness
  • Management of parts returns and processing them back to the appropriate vendors
  • Aiding the Supply Chain department where it is most needed
  • Management of stock counts as required by Audit oversight
  • Management of team Compliance with Regulatory needs

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:


Essential

  • Previous administration and office coordination experience gained within an engineering environment
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to grasp new processes and procedures within the stock control system is essential
  • An understanding of good warehousing practices
  • Comfortable with completing tasks that include lifting and some manual handling
  • Ability to identify day to day needs and react accordingly
  • Willingness to complete ad hoc tasks as they arise
  • Excellent communication across all levels of the business
  • Highly organised and able to prioritize
  • Practical and handson approach
  • Flexibility in supporting the business

Advantageous

  • Previous experience of using Sage Software would be a distinct advantage, but full training will be provided
  • Experience within aviation stores would be an advantage
