An experienced Field Service Engineer with at least 1 year of experience is needed to join our team at SIGMA4UK Ltd.

Here at SIGMA4UK Ltd, we are an innovative technical company providing products and solutions that meet the needs of self-service sales.

In this Service Engineer role, you will help with the on-field technical assistance service of the Ticket Vending Machines installed in railway stations where Avanti West Coast operates.

You will be expected to have some former experience maintaining electronic or electromechanical products and equipment, preferably Ticket Vending Machines or ATMs.

Full training at our Monterubbiano (FM) training centre is required for this role, so you will be visiting Italy for one month to complete this course while the company covers the cost of your stay


Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the maintenance of electronic or electromechanical equipment
• Previous experience in the maintenance of Ticket Vending Machines or ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) would be an advantage
• Ability to speak Italian would be beneficial
• Good computer literacy (familiar with hardware, software and operating systems) and the ability to use a portable PC very well

Required Skills:

• Superb analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Autonomous and able to problem solve
• Able to work in the UK territory moving from Glasgow to London
• Willing to move to Italy for at least one continuous month, at company expense, to attend the specialisation course on Ticket Vending Machines at the Monterubbiano (FM) training centre
• A driving license that allows the use of company commercial vehicles on the UK territory
