The Company Overview:

Butler rose are partnered with a vibrant and friendly housing associating based in South Manchester.

They are currently undergoing a restructure in the organisation and require an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis to assist with their year end andaudits.

They now have an immediate requirement for an Assistant Accountant and as a result, you will need to be either immediately available or available at short notice.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a diverse and sociable finance team.

This is a temporaryassignment with flexible start and finish times and after the training period, a hybrid work model is available.

Your new role as an Assistant Accountant:

Your duties will include:
Assist in yearend management accounts

Rase sales invoices

Balance Sheet reconciliation

Posting purchase ledger invoices

Assist team with rents and service chargers

Supplier statement reconciliations

Support with the audit

Assisting with daily bank reconciliations

Ensuring intercompany transactions are reconciled

Reconciling petty cash

Assisting with other ad hoc duties to assist other members of the finance team

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Motivated self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running

Previous experience working in Housing, not for profit or public sector would be an advantage

Intermediate Excel user

Vlookups and pivot tables

Team player with a hands-on approach

Effective communicator - written and verbal

Your Reward & The Package On Offer:

A salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience (pro rata)
