Description

Purpose of the role


A sales focused role tasked with supporting the QVC Account manager with requirements for TV sales presentations and prepare supporting sales media; printed images, VT footage, POS, set props and presenter schedule.


Main Tasks & Activities

  • Support the Client team on TV shows and events when required, allowing for business travel to offsite locations when necessary
  • Assist with requirements for TV sales presentations and prepare supporting sales media; printed images, VT footage, POS, set props and presenter schedule
  • Organise client product care and advice information for sales support, training and reference
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor pricing and activity
  • Assisting with planning and set up of new ranges, categories and promotions across all sales channels
  • Collating product specification details and sales media for marketing activity including but not limited to photography, imagery, copy and VT footage
  • Setting up product for a variety of clients; including but not limited to; QVC, Amazon, Ebay, Groupon and National Press
  • Daily administration as required

Other duties

  • The postholder will be flexible to support the Client team with adhoc requirements
  • Meet regularly with Manager to ensure their awareness of activity, performance, developments, challenges, changes and improvements
  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of department and interdepartment communication through positive input at Team/Company Meetings
  • To take responsibility for identifying training and development needs in partnership with line manager
  • To be actively and positively involved with the training of new staff within the department in conjunction with the Manager
To undertake such duties as may reasonably be expected. All members of staff are expected to be professional, co-operative and flexible within the needs of the post, the department and the Company


PERSON PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
'A' level or equivalent qualifications, or experience in a similar role


Specialist Knowledge and Skills

Essential - Excel


Desirable - IFS


Relevant experience
Experience in a similar administrative supporting role in a commercial environment

Experience of B2B sales


Interpersonal and Communication skills
Must have attention to detail and an analytical approach. To be able to build a good rapport with colleagues and value inter-departmental relationships. Proactive and positive attitude.


Any additional requirements

Essential - Full UK Driving License


Desirable - Horticultural knowledge
