We are seeking a Junior BMS Engineer to join the engineering division within our team in Uxbridge Middlesex.


The core business is in the BMS (Building Management Systems) sector and we have projects ranging from large scale commercial offices in central London to network rail monitoring in Scotland.

We are a family run business that are well-established in the industry and have been operating since 1985.


Role Profile


As a BMS Panel Junior you will be working as part of a team with experienced technicians and engineers on a range of projects primarily based in our offices.

You will learn all sides of each project from the initial build, install stage, pre-commissioning stage through to completion. All training is provided and you will learn as you work through the various projects. You will be responsible for but not limited to the following;

  • Manufacturing of building control system panels, the core of all BMS systems
  • Reading and interpreting design schematics and BMS panel drawings to ensure the proper manufacture of control panels.
  • Installing control panels and terminations of cables and networking
  • Standard housekeeping and tidiness of work area
  • Assisting with point to point testing to graphics & controls testing
  • Troubleshooting electrical failures/malfunctions.
  • Basic programming of BMS systems
  • High level network setups & interfacing of metering systems
  • Fault finding and rectifying electrical and software issues with the BMS
  • Inspection call outs to determine faults with systems

Key Skills _
Preferred_

  • Qualified with HNC/ONC or equivalent
  • Experience with computer software and programming
  • Experience with practical tasks
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to organise tasks and meet deadlines

Job Types:

Salary:
£7.50-£10.50 per hour
