We teach maths to children for understanding, in a way that makes sense to them Most importantly we make maths fun and grow children's confidence.

Want to make a difference in a child's life by passing on a love for maths? We are currently seeking Maths Instructors to work with students to achieve mastery of maths.

We have a number of tutor positions available, including a full-time position (greater need and potential for great career growth to Centre Director) and part-time positions, too.

Full-time positions hours range from 20-24 hours and part-time is 8 hours+. For all positions, working Sundays will be mandatory (likely to be 10 am-1 pm).


Responsibilities:

• Administer Mathnasium curriculum.
• Deliver Mathnasium methodology with confidence and energy.
• Ensure continued student motivation, progression and mastery.
• Execute superior customer service.
• Professionally interact with students and parents.
• Communicate student progress to line manager.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Exceptional maths skills (minimum Maths A/A* or grade 79 at GCSE and/or Maths A at A-Level).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service focus.
• Energy and passion for working with students.
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
• Energetic, fun and confident personality.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Preferred:

• Previous educational or tutoring experience.
• Strong A-Level Maths or Higher Education qualification.

Availability:

• Location: 136A Lancaster Road, Notting Hill, W11 1QU ( This is not a purely online vacancy, you will be required to teach incentre).
• Opening hours: Mon-Thu 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm, Sat 10 am to 3 pm and Sunday 10 am 1 pm. Flexitime hours are available, too. Within reason.
