Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development
- Work with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning concepts
- Monitor student behaviour and maintain a positive and safe learning environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback
- Assist with classroom management tasks, such as organizing materials and maintaining cleanliness
- Lead the class in the absence of the teacher, including PE across the year groups Reception to Year 6
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special education needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of educational strategies and techniques for working with young children
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
From £115.00 per day
Expected hours: 35 per week
