Description

Our Manufacturing client is recruiting for a CNC Press Operator based in Peterlee.

You must hold the following:


  • Read, and understand CAD drawings/specifications and customer information
  • Interpret drawings to be able to correctly input CNC programmes
  • Accurately input CNC programmes and set up tooling as instructed on the drawings to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Maintain and inspect all tooling
  • Operate the Press to fold/bend sheet metal panels using bend allowances

Working hours:


  • Monday to Thursday 7am until 4pm
  • Friday 7am until 1pm
Optional overtime available.

Salary:
£10.00-£13.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Peterlee: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • CNC programming: 1 year (preferred)
