Graduate Procurement Officer:

Job description

Full-time / 37 hours per week / Permanent

Join our dynamic and vibrant Commercial and Procurement Team to procure transformation digital, data and technology products and services. Being pivotal to the improvement, development, and innovation of the Digital, Data and technology service. You'll have the opportunity to learn and support the team in achieving the Council's procurement objectives.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday. The position is full time, permanent working 37 hours a week.

You'll have flexibility in hybrid working being both office based, at City Hall or working remotely from home to suit your needs.

What you'll need


As a highly motivated individual, you'll have a keen interest in public-sector procurement and will be given the opportunity to develop and achieve any goals you set your mind too with encouragement from senior officers.

Proficient interpersonal skills will help you achieve good working relationships with internal clients, suppliers, and colleagues.


Supporting the team to undertake projects from inception right to the end will involve work that requires good analytical skills and attention to detail and offers you the opportunity to use your own initiative and meet set deadlines.
