Welcome to the team

We are currently recruiting a kitchen assistant with in our care home.

The role is working on a rota'd basis which include alternative weekends off and days during the week.

Working hours are set and rolled over a two week period, so you will know in advance your working schedule.

The hours are 9.30am to 2.30pm but these can be discussed at interview, 3-4days per week with the option of undertaking overtime.

Your duties will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
  • Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
  • Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
  • Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
  • Checking sellby dates and rotating food stock
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
  • Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
Interviews are available immediately.


Job Types:

Pay:
£11.44 per hour
