Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Primary SEND teacher to join a wonderful new independant SEN school in Crawley


We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed specialist teacher to be part of a multi-disciplinary team to plan, develop, coordinate and implement individual curriculum programmes for students with learning difficulties.

Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom;
Promote the school's mission statement 'We Care, Value and Challenge Everyone, Everyday" to ensure Inclusion, Independence and Self Worth for ALL

Contribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors.

  • Implement agreed school policies and guidelines;
  • Support initiatives decided by the Headteacher and staff;
  • Plan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks;
  • Be able to set clear targets, based on prior attainment, for pupils' learning;
  • Participate in meetings which relate to the school's management, curriculum, administration or organisation;
  • Communicate and cooperate with specialists from outside agencies;
  • Make effective use of ICT to enhance learning and teaching
  • Lead, organise and direct support staff within the classroom;

Salary

Requirements:


  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK
  • DBS on the update service or willing to apply
  • 2 graded references within the last 6 years
  • Primary Teaching/SEN Experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
