One of the UK's most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations is looking for a passionate and meticulous Project Worker to be part of the team at Hadleigh Training Centre Essex.


As a Chaplin you will be responsible for proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, be visibly accessible representative of The Salvation Army and its identity, culture, ethos and associated values.

Ensure regular Christian worship takes place including eh celebration of Christian festivals, and to provide opportunities for Christian discovery/discipleship groups.


You will lead Christian prayers, bible study, Mission and Christian mentoring and ensure all those who are connected to the Estate, receive pastoral care/support and spiritual nurture.


To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of helping people explore their Christian faith
  • Experience leading worship and presenting the Gospel
  • Confidence in your faith and not threatened when it is questioned
  • The ability to cope in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt your hours to the needs of those you support
