Veritas Education are recruiting for the role of an SEN Teacher for a school in GL4.
The specialist school, support in a welcoming environment, for students aged 5-16 who face challenges associated with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Executing tailored lesson plans
- Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs
- Engaging pupils to ensure they are on track with their development
- Reporting back on performance to promote best practice
- Teacher qualified
- Flexible and confident to cover lessons for all age groups
- Previous SEN experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the wellbeing of children with SEN
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant, an enhanced DBS Certificate may need to be carried out as well as satisfactory references being taken.
We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
