Vault and Despatch Operative
Type:
Full Time - 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday between 07:00-17:00, and the first Saturday of each month.
Holidays: 28 days (inc. Bank Holidays)Reports to:
Warehouse Manager
About Us
As a Vault and Despatch Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling high value stock
- Processing customer and supplier deliveries
- Picking, packing and despatching orders following company procedure
- Daily stocktake
- Stockroom management: ensuring that stock locations are kept tidy and organised
- Quality control
- Working with other departments to provide a premium customer experience
- General departmental duties
- Honest, trustworthy and conscientious
- Confident at planning ahead and adapting to sudden changes in daily duties
- Strong work ethic
- Dedication to being a team player with a "Cando" attitude is essential
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
- Comfortable learning new software under supervision
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Problem solving skills and great attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical work and lifting boxes weighing 20kg
- Keen to learn about precious metal coins and bars
- Ability to work to a shift pattern
- Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines
- Dedication to ongoing professional development.
- Capacity to reflect on and provide agile feedback related to daily duties.
Salary:
From £10.90 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
- GCSE Maths & English: Grade 49 or Grade C and above or be able to sit a maths and English skills test.
Additional Requirements:
- Must undertake a DBS Check before employment
