We are now looking for an experienced
Receptionist/ Administrator to be able to assist with and be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the clinical team.


Previous experience within a GP Practice is essential.

  • Experienced in Document coding, Scanning, Prescriptions, letters,Tasks, Triage and Reception desk duties
  • Working on phones taking calls from patients looking to book in appointments
  • AccuRX
  • Experience using System one.
  • Chaperone experience or prepared to receive training
  • Excellent customer service skills with a courteous and friendly demeanour
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a professional manner.

Your Responsibilities;

  • Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system
  • Process personal, telephone, and erequests for appointments
  • Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls, or dealing with the callers' requests appropriately
  • Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members, and external agencies
  • Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required
  • Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
  • Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards
  • Provide general administrative support such as scanning, copying, supporting clinical team, etc
We need someone with full flexibility and able to work between - 18:30 on a rota basis. We also run clinics on a Saturday to administer Flu and Covid vaccines so you must be able to commit to working to support the needs of the surgery,

Salary:
£10.00-£10.42 per hour
