About The Role:


The postholder will have the responsibility to ensure all airside drivers receive the appropriate training to legally and safely drive vehicles required to carry out their role airside.

This role has the ability to directly impact business performance by ensuring the safety of airside driving complies with CAA, HSE legislation and Airport Regulations.


  • The role will involve training both initial and refresher ramp driving and marshalling modules for both PRM and Cobus coaching contracts as well as practical training
  • Responsible for the training of drivers in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority and Road Transport to meet compliance.
  • Ensuring the learning and development training records and "Skills Matrices" are properly maintained and training managed against industry legislation and practice to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Ensuring appropriate policies, processes and manuals are incorporated into operational driver training material to ensure our operational employees are trained to carry out their job function.
  • Responsible for ensuring all external certification and accreditation to train is up to date and relevant.

Experience and Qualifications desired / preferred
Previous Experience within delivery training material and ongoing refresher courses is essential for this position

Experience within the aviation industry would be highly desirable

Full clean driving license.
