Description

Wetherby, up to £15ph, 4 day week ongoing training and development, overtime, pension

You will be required to produce a range of standard and bespoke products in thin gauge sheet metal the work is both challenging and interesting.

The TIG Welding role:

Read and work to engineering drawings to produce high quality welded basic and complex assemblies
Work in a small team of 4-6 people
Produce fine and details welds on small and medium parts
Produce parts in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel to tolerances of 0.2mm
Work in other areas of the business when necessary
Set up and operate a robot-welding arm.

The person

Confident TIG welding skills
Able to produce precision high quality welds
Ability to read technical drawings.
Demonstrate excellent dexterity able to do intricate work
Hold relevant welding qualifications
Able to work independently
Excellent attention to detail
Be hard working and conscientious
Be self-motivated.
