You will work alongside Jagvinder and Kevin, as well as our other fantastic technology law partners and our national team.


What does the role involve?


Our Technology and Data Protection division is expanding, and we are looking for technology lawyers or commercial lawyers with a strong interest in technology law work (IT and Data Protection) to work in our National IT and Data Protection Team, as part of our Birmingham office.


Work will include advising a range of clients from innovative start-ups to global corporates, on IT, E-commerce, Data Protection and Commercial arrangements.

You will undertake a wide range of technology/data law work across a range of different industry sectors.


What experience is required?
You should have at least 4+ years post qualification experience. You will have good technical skills in commercial and technology law. You will be enthusiastic and pragmatic in your approach to delivering legal advice to clients.

What skills and attributes would I need?


You will be able to demonstrate your interest in technology law, possess good academics, have excellent attention to detail, drafting skills, and negotiating skills.

You will have good organisational skills to manage clients' needs and timelines, with a pro-active approach to work.

You should be willing to learn and develop, demonstrate enthusiasm for becoming involved in business development initiatives, and show a good team-working approach whilst possessing a keen sense of humour.
