North West Recycling, Cumbria's leading waste management supplier are actively recruiting for a Customer Sales Assistant to join our expanding team.

We employ over 100 staff, operate over 25 vehicles, and deploy over 2500 skips and containers from our 30-acre purpose-built waste management, skip hire and recycling facility near Carlisle, in Cumbria.

As a family run business, we are committed to helping our customers and partners to better, more sustainably, manage their waste.

Our aim is to fully close the circular journey of the waste produced, through our ability to manage the entire process - skip hire and business waste collection through to recycling and full material recovery.

The Role

We are actively looking for a talented Customer Services Assistant to join our existing Sales team who are the primary point of contact for all incoming calls.

Responsibilities and duties to include:

Taking, closing and processing of sales/orders and promotion of skip, trade waste and other sales.
Developing client relationships by building rapport with new and existing customers.
Handling of customer queries and requests.
Proactively generating business.
Managing and growing customer accounts.
Maintaining professional standards and delivering excellent customer service.
Knowledge of company, products, services, processes and transmission of information.

Qualifications and skills:

Ambition self driven desire to meet and beat sales targets (essential).
Cando attitude always willing and ready to go the extra mile with the ability to use your own initiative and provide solutions tailored to your customers requirements (essential).
Positive and enthusiastic individual selfmotivated to succeed and continually improve (essential).
Previous telesales experience (essential).
Experience with MS Office (essential).
Being organised and flexible with the ability to multitask (essential).

The Package
In house training will be provided.

Competitive salary up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience.

Full time hours 37.5 per week.

20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. An additional days holiday for every year of service up to and extra 10 days.

Onsite parking & cycle to work scheme available.
