We are currently recruiting for a Senior PA to support our Medical Services Group Directorate. You will be providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support whilst resolving day-to-day problems independently.Ideally, we are seeking an experienced PA, who has either previously worked in the NHS or other sectors in a similar role.
The role also involves line managing a Band 4 Directorate PA.If you are a good listener, confident in your abilities and handling queries, and are exceptionally organised - then we want to hear from you
This is a busy role, and we are looking for someone who has proven organisational skills and who can manage and prioritise a busy workload, with an eye for accuracy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work closely with other Executive Personal Assistants and Senior Personal Assistants to facilitate the efficient operation of the senior team's business.
Liaise with other Directors' and Senior Managers' PAs and members of the Executive team to maintain an efficient service to the Directors and Senior Managers.
In a courteous and professional manner, respond positively and promptly to enquires and incoming calls. Take the appropriate course of action as necessary, liaising with others as appropriate. Act with discretion at all times to take and record accurate messages, redirecting queries where suitable.Communicate effectively with Service Group Director and triumvirate through a variety of communication methods. Assist with the dissemination of information to the management team.

The post-holder will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Service Group Director and deputy, and ADPC and deputy, whilst resolving day-to-day problems independently.
They will make informed decisions within area of responsibility, ensuring that agreed standards and targets are met in accordance with departmental, Trust and national standards, policies and procedures.
They will act as a source of advice and guidance, and the first point of contact for enquiries for the nominated Service Group Director.
The post holder will be expected to appropriately manage confidential, complex and sensitive information concerning staff and the Trust as a whole, exercising discretion and upholding high professional and ethical standards at all times.
The post holder will be a key member of the Medical Service Group and will undertake corporate roles and responsibilities in accordance with the grade and nature of the post.
