Position Overview:

Panopto is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to help the sales team respond to Tenders and RFPs issued by organisations who are seeking to procure a Video Content Management System.

Many of the tenders we respond to are issued by Universities, and we also receive RFPs from large corporations and partner organisations.

About the Role:

As a bid writer at Panopto, you will be an essential contributor to our continued growth by working closely with the Pre-Sales team by helping identify and manage the tender process for public, private and education sector opportunities.

As part of this role, you will:

• Proactively Monitor procurement portals for identifying prospective new opportunities for tendering.
• Consult with identified prospects during the pretender phase.
• Write clear, concise and compelling, benefitsfocused RFP content using bid writing best practices.
• Work within strict deadlines to submit timely, compliant and winning bids.
• Take part in bid reviews and identify lessons learnt to further tenders.
• Develop and maintain an effective bid collateral library, ensuring it is up to date, as well as other administrative bid tasks.
• Take opportunities, where appropriate, to manage the bid process and develop your bid management skills and experience.

You bring to the table:

• Proven experience in proposal writing and answering technical RFPs. Experience in software bidding and an interest in technology.
• Excellent communicator with outstanding written communication skills writing effective, compelling, and concise content which clearly answers clients' questions whilst selling the benefits of Panopto's solutions.
• Attention to detail you will have excellent editing and proofreading abilities and take pride in presenting a polished and professional bid response.
• Computerliterate you will have a broad understanding of key office technologies and be able to confidently work with a range of data management tools and software.
• Deadlinedriven you will have excellent time management and prioritisation skills and will thrive in a busy environment.
• Effective team worker you will work well as part of a crossdepartmental (virtual) bid team and will also work well alone.
• Experience using RFPIO or similar tools would be an advantage.
