NHS Hospital - Band 4/5/6 Locum Pharmacy technician needed - Northwest London - part time or full time 3,4 or 5 days a week.

Hunter Gatherer AHP have a very exciting locum opportunity based with an NHS run hospital service located in a great location in Northwest London (please enquire for exact location), for a Locum Pharmacy technician to join the inpatient ward and dispensaryteam ASAP.

PLEASE NOTE previous hospital experience is ideal for this role, but not a necessity, so those who are newly qualified and those with only community experience will be able to apply There is freeparking available on site at this hospital. This is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as training will be provided to those who do not possess hospital experience, it's a chance to hone your skills in one of the UK's leading NHS hospitals.

The role will be to cover the various inpatient general wards and complete the clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing, there may also be a small amount of accuracy checking of medication, offering advice on dosages and side effects of drug interaction,and maintain accurate and detailed records of all medications processed.

The working pattern will be 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch break) x5 or x3 weekdays per week,
There will be no on call or weekend working needed.
Applicants must have some form of pharmacy experience, and ideally have worked in a hospital environment before.

The service is seeking someone to start ideally immediately (March 2023), and the role will be a contract length of 6 months, most likely longer.

Locum Band 4/5/6 Pharmacist (to qualify for band 6 ACT is ideally wanted)
NHS Hospital

- £15 - £26 per hour Umbrella, depending on experience

Hospital experience ideal, but not a necessity those from the community sector are able to apply
Start date: March 2023

- inpatient Wards + Dispensary cover

Located in Northwest London, with free parking to offer
Duration: 6 months minimum
Full time or part time (3,4 or 5 days a week)
